Vectorium Flash Mining Guide for Beginners

Install your GPUs and configure your PC

The whole process should take less than 20 minutes, just follow these steps:

1) Install your GPUs and configure your PC
2) Get a Vectorium Flash wallet address
3) Download and install a Vectorium mining program
4) Join a Vectorium solo pool
5) Start mining!

Getting started with Vectorium Flash mining is fairly simple. You don’t need to download the full blockchain or manage technical command-line miners with manual instructions. For the purpose of this guide, I’m going to do a detailed walkthrough of setting up and using the very popular Nvidia EWBF Miner and LoLMiner for AMD Video Cards.

Install your GPUs and configure your PC

When it comes to which GPU card you should choose, Nvidia would be your first choice. It’s important to note that while  AMD cards outperform Nvidia cards for Ethereum mining purposes, Nvidia has a clear advantage when it comes to mining Vectorium on the Equihash algorithm using the EWBF Miner.

Whichever card you choose, it should have at least 4 GB of RAM, or it won’t be able to properly mine Vectorium Flash.

Get a Vectorium Flash wallet address

You now have to generate your receiving address. Please note that Vectorium Flash and Plus adresses are not the same. Vectorium Flash addresses starts with the letter V!

Download and install a Vectorium mining program

Now you are ready to download your miner according to your hardware architecture.
Start by navigating to http://pool.vectorium.co/getting_started.

On this page you’ll find both EWBF Miner (CUDA) for Nvidia and LoLMiner (AMD). Download your preferred one and save it on your desktop.

Join a Vectorium Flash solo pool

Now that everything is setted up and ready you can start mining Vectorium Plus.
The official Vectorium Flash solo pool is located here –> http://pool.vectorium.co/

Before firing up your GPU cards you have to indicate to the software (and to the solo pool itself) who you are and where the mined coins should be sent. For every mining software you’ll find a .bat file, which is in charge to start your miner.

For example, this will be a start file for a Nvidia GPU based mining rig. I shall indicate VECT_Pow as personalization string and my receiving address.
Another important parameters is the server one, don’t forget to point your rig to pool.vectorium.co on port 1000 otherwise your mining software will never reach our solo pool!

If you have trouble with your start bat, down below you can see a couple of examples.

Nvidia EWBF –> miner –algo 192_7 –pers VECT_PoW –server pool.vectorium.co –port 1000 –user YOURWALLETADDRESS.mainnet –pass x
AMD LoLMiner –> lolMiner.exe –coin ZER –pool 167.86.72.139 –port 1000 –user YOURWALLETADDRESS.mainnet –pass x

Once done, save your file!

Start Mining!

Now just click on your start file and start mining Vectorium Flash!
You can follow your realtime stats on http://pool.vectorium.co/workers/YOURWALLETADDRESS
